Shree Power Trading is a trading arm of Shree Cement Limited. One of the largest cement manufacturers in India. Shree power trading is a category I trading licensee. Shree Power Trading was incorporated on 16th March '10 with the objectives of optimizing the Group’s energy assets and bridging the demand supply gap in India by trading power from other power generators/utilities. Shree Power Trading is backed by 250 MW generation capacity installed at various locations in Rajasthan. Also by the end of 2010 – 2011 financial year company would have 500 MW installed capacity.

Shree Power Trading has trained and well-experienced manpower to conduct its power trading operations. The company’s highly skilled staff is handling all types of trades through Bilateral trades & Power Exchange. The company has established excellent relationships with its stakeholders and has dealt with various Electricity Utilities of States such as Rajasthan, Maharashtra, etc. and with private Discoms of Delhi, Mumbai.

Shree Power Trading has also been buying and selling surplus power from various Captive Power Plants and Independent Power producers located in the states of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Gujarat. Shree Power Trading is one of the few Licensed Power Trading Companies which has acquired Trading and Clearing Membership of IEX.
